How Cisco is using combined heat and power to provide power resilience for its customers and raise carbon and cost performance
With increasing stress on the UK power network, resilience of supply is an increasing worry for data centres. Combined Cooling, heat and power (CCHP) provides the assurance managers are seeking in preventing interruptions in critical power and cooling as a reliable off-grid back-up. It can also be used as a reliable and low cost and carbon primary energy supply. Delegates will hear how ENER-G has worked with Cisco to utilise CCHP to provide back-up cooling and power at its UK data centre.
