Power Generation

Recent changes in the way we generate electricity have led to changes in the stability of the electrical grid.

Renewable generation varies based on wind strength, time of day, sunlight levels etc. the variable nature of this generation had raised new challenges for grid operators worldwide in providing stability to a grid when generation varies so much and so rapidly.

Reciprocating gas engine generation is an ideal technology to provide rapid response reinforcement to the grid, providing up to 50MWe within minutes of being despatched, coupled with the ability to stop and restart numerous times per day to maximise developer income streams whilst not having to operate at uneconomic times of day.
